The yard and garden work seems to be behind schedule this year. Are we getting too old for all of the work or are we starting too many new projects? We are hoping for the latter reason. Each year as the Marigold seeds dry, we save some for the next year's flowers. The grow lights in the basement were one of our better purchases. Our Marigold bed has six tall Marigold plants around the tree stump and twelve short plants around the outer circle. Each year Terry gets out the hardware cloth squares and assembles the cages that protect the Marigolds until they can grow large enough to survive being snipped by birds.
One of our projects for this year is a sitting area next to the sun room. Photos will soon appear!
