Two days ago we picked enough green beans for a meal but today was the first actual "picking". Almost a half bucket full of green beans today. They have already been processed, vacuum packed and frozen. This first real picking has provided four meal size packets plus one half size packet. We will probably have to pick again in two or three days.
We also picked two zucchini and they will become loaves of zucchini bread tomorrow. It's too hot today for old people to tackle more than one chore at a time.
