We Got RAIN!

 On Monday, June 12th, we finally received rain. An inch and three quarters of that lovely, wet stuff. 

Thanks to the much needed rain,the green bean bed is showing signs of growth. The bean plants aren't as mature as they should be for mid June but at least they are beginning to thrive. In another few weeks we will plant more green beans.

Three of the tomato plants are sporting some small tomatoes.  This plant has the most tomatoes so far and is almost the normal size for this time of year. We are to get rain later today and then four or five days of sunshine with average temperatures.  We are hoping for a more normal growing season so that we can fill the freezer for winter.
