Spring has arrived and we are slowly getting ready to work outdoors. It gets more difficult as we get older and this year we both turn 75 years old. What a thought! My favorite spring flowers are the mini Irises that my aunt bought when they lived in Knoxville TN. She gave them to me when they moved to Arizona. They bloom twice each year and never fail to bring a smile to my face.
The red blooms, next to the window well cover, are on a Fern Leafed Peony. I have the remaining two plants from the one that my grandmother received from a neighbor almost a hundred years ago.
