The old saying used to be "April showers bring May flowers". This year we have received more rain in May than April. More than four inches in the past ten days. The garlic chives don't seem to mind the rain and are happily blooming.
Once again we are enjoying (?) a day of light, misty rain with periods of heavier rain. In the foreground you can see the Roma tomatoes that I grew from seed. They are looking pretty healthy and I hope to be able to can tomato sauce this year. A thunderstorm is predicted for this evening so the greenhouse buckets are ready to cover and protect the young plants. In the top left corner, the strawberries are growing nicely.
