Still Chugging Along

Just a short post to show that we are still alive.  The burn barrel project has not been completed as yet  but we are still working and "chugging along" as we can.  We had to slow down to allow Terry to give his back and shoulders a much needed rest.  Plus I managed to get a nasty case of poison ivy while trying to eradicate poison from the neighbor's property that was wending its way through our fence and into our property.  Last week, Terry hauled home another 800 pounds of drainage rocks so the project will be finished soon.

One project that has been completed is the sealing of the driveway.  We did it ourselves one time a few years ago but having a 100 foot driveway was too much for us.  We hired a company called Pro Seal from Palmyra and they did a very good job.

While taking a break from working with the stones, we haven't been napping.  Well, except when Terry  had a few of his Vertigo attacks.  The first day he takes the meds, he sleeps the whole day.  We have been cleaning up garden debris and getting the raised beds ready for winter.  We still have green peppers growing and have not taken out the Marigolds.  We want to have flowers for the bees as long as possible. The autumn rains have arrived and that slows progress too.
